Procurement notes

PP homopolymer (MFI 10–20) in sheet extrusion grade is the workhorse for clear-lidded dairy pots; HIPS thermoform sheet handles opaque white body tubs. Borealis, LyondellBasell and INEOS Styrolution supply the dominant grades. Volume converters (Faerch, Huhtamaki, Greiner Packaging) run annual contracts at 500–2,000 t per line; smaller dairies typically source via Resinex or Kloeckner Plastics distributor stock.
